Refund Policy

Overview
Makinji LLC is committed to client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, credits, and cancellations are handled for our installation services and equipment. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.
1. Service Deposits
Deposits are collected to secure scheduling, procure materials, and begin project planning. Deposit refund terms are as follows:
- Cancellation 7+ days before scheduled start: Full deposit refund, less any materials already ordered or non-returnable expenses incurred.
- Cancellation 3–6 days before scheduled start: 50% of deposit refunded, as materials and scheduling resources have been allocated.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of scheduled start: Deposit is non-refundable, as work has been fully prepared and resources committed.
2. Completed Installations — Labor
Labor charges for completed installations are non-refundable once work has been performed and accepted by the client. If you believe workmanship does not meet the agreed-upon specifications, please contact us within 5 business days of project completion and we will investigate and remedy the issue at no additional charge under our 90-day labor warranty.
3. Equipment & Hardware
Equipment purchased through Makinji LLC is subject to the following:
- Unopened / uninstalled equipment: May be returned within 15 days of purchase for a full refund, less a 15% restocking fee.
- Installed equipment: Non-refundable once installed. Defective equipment is covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
- Special-order or custom-configured equipment: Non-refundable as these items cannot be returned to the supplier.
4. Service Plan Subscriptions
Annual maintenance and service plan subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. A pro-rated refund will be issued for any remaining full months unused at the time of cancellation. No refund will be issued for partial months used.
5. Warranty Claims
Warranty claims are not refunds — they are remedied through repair or replacement of defective workmanship or equipment. Our 90-day labor warranty covers any installation defects. Equipment warranty claims are processed through the manufacturer with our assistance at no charge.
6. Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method. Credit card refunds may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear on your statement depending on your card issuer.
